As a researcher, Dr. Yang’s research is centered on the study of geriatric syndromes. He has published a series of articles on geriatric syndromes, including the following: geriatric syndromes and life satisfaction, geriatric syndromes and mortality, geriatric syndromes and length of hospital stay, geriatric syndromes and quality of life, and geriatric syndromes following Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection.
His ongoing research encompasses the study of geriatric syndromes and their trajectories in the cohort with longitudinal follow-up. Additionally, he also collaborates with the radiologist and statistician to investigate the impact of body composition on geriatric syndromes and associated outcomes.
