Continuing education focus (overview)
We support ongoing professional development in geriatrics through hospital-wide and interdisciplinary education designed to build shared competencies for age-friendly care and disability prevention. Activities may be credit-bearing for multiple professions and are delivered through courses, workshops, and symposia.


Typical topics and formats
Core geriatric knowledge and skills (e.g., CGA, polypharmacy, frailty/sarcopenia, delirium/dementia care, palliative care and ethical issues, maintaining function)

Cross-disciplinary learning and experience exchange forums to establish common language and competencies for geriatric care
Regular academic meetings that reinforce evidence-based practice and team-based care (e.g., journal discussions and interdisciplinary case conferences)
